Meet Jillian Stebbins, the dedicated director of BICDC. With a passion for early childhood education, Ms. Jillian plays a vital role in creating a warm and nurturing environment for children to thrive. Ms. Jillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and is committed to fostering a love for learning through play-based experiences. Her hands-on approach ensures that each child feels valued and supported as they explore their creativity and develop essential skills. Outside of her role at Big Imaginations, Ms. Jillian enjoys spending time outdoors, volunteering at the animal shelter, and cozying up with a good book. Her enthusiasm for childhood development and her commitment to nurturing young minds make her an inspiring presence in our community.
Meet Monique Robinson, the passionate founder of Big Imaginations Child Development Center. With a background in childcare and a deep commitment to fostering a love for learning, she opened the doors of Big Imaginations in 2017. Ms. Monique values giving back to her community. Through various initiatives, she actively supports local charities and organizations, ensuring that the impact of Big Imaginations extends beyond the walls of her center. Whether it’s through donations, volunteer work, or partnerships with local businesses, Monique strives to uplift those around her, instilling a sense of responsibility and compassion in her students. She has two sons of her own, Pierre and Ahmir, who graduated from BICDC. As a parent, Ms. Monique values the benefits of being a part of the Big Imaginations family, including the academic and socialization skills acquired at the school over the years. Ms. Monique envisioned a place where children could explore, create, and thrive in a nurturing environment, and she did just that! In her free time, Ms. Monique enjoys exploring history, meaningful self reflection, and embracing her walk with God. Her devotion to the success of each child combined with her experience in childcare fosters a flourishing environment to build their educational foundation.

What started as a program serving just a handful of children has since grown into the thriving early education organization it is today, serving families across multiple locations while maintaining the warmth, personal connection, and family-centered values upon which it was founded. A lifelong advocate for high-quality early childhood education, Melissa holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is both Director I and Director II Certified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). She continuously seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and leadership skills to better serve the children, families, and educators who make up the Thrive community. Known for her innovative thinking and unwavering dedication, Melissa is passionate about building inclusive learning environments, strengthening family engagement, supporting educator development, and creating pathways of opportunity for underserved communities. Thrive Childcare Center Ms. Teri has served as a Program Director, Center Owner, and Family Childcare Provider for over 19 years and brings a wealth of experience to the field of early
childhood education. Teri has always had a deep passion for working with children and their families, and she takes great pride in supporting others through her work. She is a dedicated professional and a proud graduate of Wheelock College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development. Teri is also a mother of three daughters, all of whom have followed in her footsteps by working in early childhood education.
